Job Duties: In accordance with management directives, this position will be responsible for selling parts and product support services for Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar equipment within the commercial and industrial market segments.

Territory: Will cover Tioga, Lycoming, Clinton, Union, Clearfield, Snyder, Cambria, Somerset, Bedford, Center, and Huntington counties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Completing credit approvals for sales and service
– Apply time management and territory management practices to implement territorial and account coverage plans
– Sell parts, service, preventative maintenance products, environmental products, and customer support agreements within assigned territory
– Prepare quotes, sales contracts and related paperwork necessary to win and close deals
– Provide consultative customer support to ensure business relationshipsintegrity is maintained
– Educate the customers with energy and transportation solutions
– Assist our customers with management of their operating and life cycle costs
– Perform basic generator, engine, pump, air-compressor, switch gear, automatic transfer switch, UPS, fuel polishing, or machine inspection to generate opportunity for customer interaction and product support sales
– Prospecting of one’s assigned territory for new customers
– 100% utilization of the CRM tool to track customer activities and sales opportunities
– Assist in the maintenance of key customer equipment information within the reporting branch CSA database
– Provide competitor feedback and activity
– Provide inputinformation for annual planning and budgeting

– A thorough understanding of parts, service, and machine technical performance information and how to utilize the information to provide solutions to customer requirements

Degrees or Other Special Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree and or 4-5 years of related experience
– Ability to read and interpret documents such as NFPA codes, NEC codes, operating and maintenance instructions, electrical schematics, and procedure manuals
– Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as; discounts, gross profit, interest, proportions, percentages, volume, etc
– Basic computer skills; utilization of Microsoft office (Excel and Word), CRM, DBSi, and the internet for data mining
