To help simplify service, modular components, like the grille, grille surround, bumper and fender extensions, can be replaced individually. Key service points, like coolant, washer reservoirs and air filters, are easy to access, and you can quickly replace headlight bulbs and windshield wiper blades without any tools.

The CT680 was made for the driver with its set-forward axle, parabolic taper lead suspension, tuned cab air suspension system and premium sound insulation and trim. There’s also plenty of room for paperwork and log books in the wide, spacious interior of the cab, and it includes a well-illuminated work area to make it a true mobile office.
In addition, the CT680 features everything you’ve come to expect from Cat Truck cabs. The easy-to-read gauges, multiple seat options — including the Cat Comfort Seat — and a tilting, telescoping steering column with leather-wrapped steering wheel provide all-day comfort, productivity and safety.
Hard at work under the hood
Designed specifically for vocational applications, the CT680 features an ideal match of power and performance to tackle the toughest jobs. It’s powered by a Cat CT Series Vocational Truck Engine with horsepower ratings from 410 to 475 bhp and peak torque ratings from 1,450 to 1,700 lb-ft.
Also designed for use in vocational applications is the CT680’s Cat CX31 Automatic Transmission. It boosts your productivity with the industry’s highest power-to-weight ratio, full power shifting and quick acceleration. There is even a High Torque (HT) option available for applications with up to 1,850 lb-ft engine ratings and other transmission options, including manual transmissions and the Ultrashift® Plus Vocational Transmission built by Eaton.
Other options like the fleet management tool, Product Link™, the accompanying VisionLink® web interface, a vehicle information system and a Bendix Tire Pressure Monitoring System are also available.
