Technician Apprenticeship Program

The Cleveland Brothers Technician Apprentice Program is a 60-week, hands-on training opportunity designed to launch entry-level individuals into a skilled technician career.

Apprentices rotate between our Harrisburg and Murrysville training centers and at any of 30 locations within the territory throughout the program, gaining both classroom instruction and real-world shop experience.

13 weeks of instructor-led classroom training
47 weeks of hands-on shop training
Rotations every 4 weeks for well-rounded experience

Throughout the program, apprentices develop hands-on skills working with Cat® equipment, performing tasks such as repairs, service work, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and replacement part installation.

Who Should Apply?

Must be 18 years old by start date
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to obtain basic mechanic hand tools (wrenches, sockets, drives, etc.)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and safety procedures
Professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and train under experienced service mentors
Valid driver’s license required
