Power, Performance, & Efficiency

If you are looking to upgrade from your old Cat® 321D or are just looking for a new mid-size excavator designed to work in close-quarters, saves on fuel, look no further than the new Cat® 325F L.

This machine consumes 22 percent less fuel than the Cat 321D but with no loss in swing torque and bucket/stick forces. The Tier 4 Final-compliant Cat C4.4 ACERT engine also allows the machine to push 161 net horsepower.

The option of three power modes, high power, standard and eco, allow the operator to have better management of their fuel consumption.  Both an isochronous control, which automatically manages pump and engine speed, along with boom and stick recirculation valves also encourage fuel savings.

Cat 325FL Lift Capacity & Reach

Versatile Size

With an 8 percent increase in max lifting capacity over the 321D, the 325F L can lift 27,000 pounds at 15 feet over the front at ground level. Coming in at a weight of 57,115 pounds this machine features a 45,591-pound drawbar pull and swing speed of 11.2 rpm.

The front swing radius of the 325F L is 7 feet, 8 inches with a tail swing radius of 5 feet, 8 inches. In a working space of 13 feet, 4 inches, this machine has the ability to dig, swing and dump with ease. When rotating the machine 90 degrees and working over one side, only 5 inches of counterweight extends beyond the track width.

The new Cat Pin Grabber coupler is also compatible with the 325F L. This coupler allows quick attachment changes without having the leave the comfort and safety of the cab.

Cat 325FL Excavator Comfortable Cab Environment

Quiet & Comfortable

The new 325F L reduces vibration and sound with its ROPS cab. An adjustable heated seat and armrests, joystick consoles and automatic climate control system comes standard with this machine. An LCD monitor and new radio with an auxiliary jack are also built in for plugging in a smartphone or MP3 player. Along with these comforts, ample storage and auxiliary power also come standard.

The cab also features most maintenance points that can be accessed from ground level. Thanks to a high-pressure fuel system with a newly designed pump and injectors this machine is more durable than its predecessor. A modified X-frame design, robotically-welded front linkage, a heavy-duty undercarriage with massive track frames, heavy-duty track rulers and forged carrier rollers also make this machine much more durable than the 321D.
