What a Customer Value Agreement (CVA) Can Offer

What is a Cat Customer Value Agreement (CVA)?

If you’ve recently purchased a new piece of Cat equipment, you’ve probably heard of a Customer Value Agreement (CVA). But what does a CVA actually mean for you?

CVAs were designed to maximize the Cat equipment life cycles through the service offerings provided by Cleveland Brothers. It takes the worry out of maintaining your equipment and offers complete worry-free maintenance so you can increase productivity, avoid costly failures and diminish downtime. With a CVA, you have two options—1. self-service or 2. service offered by Cleveland Brothers. Both options offer the parts and service you need, when you need it.

Preventive Maintenance Kits

What Does a CVA Offer?

With the self-service option, Cleveland Brothers monitors your machine and sends Cat preventive maintenance parts (EZKits) directly to you for regularly planned maintenance, at your request, right to your door. You can then perform the maintenance when convenient for you.

With the full-support CVA, Cleveland Brothers monitors your equipment for you and notifies you to schedule an appointment when maintenance is required. Our expert technicians perform routine maintenance and identify any potential problems through our new digital inspection process, which utilizes the latest technology with the Cat Inspect App. With this insight, you can schedule repairs during project downtimes to eliminate underutilization of the equipment when it’s needed on those priority projects.

If something goes wrong with your equipment, a health event alerts both you and a Cleveland Brothers representative through your desktop or multiple mobile devices. We will call and give you priority appointment scheduling, diagnostics before arrival and progress updates once we receive your equipment to minimize downtime. You’ll also have the peace of mind knowing that we utilize genuine Cat parts for your equipment. If a maintenance part is not available by the end of the next business day, we’ll cover the cost for the value of the part (up to $1,000) in Cat Prepaid Credit.

Both options include the service and protection you need to keep your business running smoothly. With a CVA, you’re secure today, the next day and every day.
